Airline Seat Supply Crunch Poised to Extend Airbus and Boeing Delivery Delays into 2027
Airbus has warned that a global shortage of cabin seats, driven by capacity constraints at suppliers such as Safran Seats GB, could continue to push aircraft handovers into 2027. The bottleneck has already cost carriers billions in delayed Airbus and Boeing deliveries and driven up ticket prices.
