Investigators, lawmakers oppose NDAA provision to exempt military helicopters from ADS‑B after Potomac collision

Safety investigators and lawmakers oppose a House-passed NDAA provision that would allow waivers from ADS‑B/transponder requirements for some military helicopters after January's fatal Potomac River collision near Reagan National. NTSB Chair Jennifer Homendy says the measure would roll back safety reforms adopted after the crash.
