Allegiant completes ~$1.5B Sun Country acquisition, consolidating leisure network and charter/cargo operations
Allegiant has closed its roughly $1.5 billion acquisition of Sun Country following regulatory and shareholder approvals. The merger combines the two low-cost leisure carriers, extending Allegiant’s network reach and bringing Sun Country’s charter and cargo businesses under Allegiant control.
