KLM flight attendant hospitalized in Netherlands after suspected exposure to fatal hantavirus case
A KLM flight attendant is hospitalized in isolation in the Netherlands with suspected hantavirus infection after contact with a 69-year-old Dutch woman who died of the Andes hantavirus strain. The patient fell ill after exposure during travel linked to the MV Hondius outbreak and was reported to have been onboard a KLM Boeing 777 briefly.
