Qantas cuts Q4 FY2026 domestic capacity and cancels U.S./domestic flights as Iran-driven jet-fuel volatility hits earnings
Qantas says continued volatility in jet-fuel prices and weaker global economic conditions will force a network pullback. It is cutting domestic capacity in Q4 FY2026 by ~5 percentage points, cancelling some flights and rebooking/refunding affected customers, while redirecting capacity toward Europe as higher fuel costs raise the bar for profitability.
