Airbus 'Bird of Prey' interceptor completes autonomous air-to-air intercept in Germany
Airbus completed a demonstration flight of its 'Bird of Prey' interceptor at a training area in northern Germany, where the system autonomously detected, classified and tracked a medium-sized kamikaze UAS. It engaged the target with a Mark I air-to-air missile from partner Frankenburg Technologies, fired from a modified Do‑DT25.
