BAE Systems unveils Ascent and a refuelable, high-thrust “dynamic space operations” satellite lineup—targeting 2027 delivery
BAE Systems is expanding its Elevation spacecraft line with the Ascent vehicle, alongside a new high-thrust, maneuverable, refuelable satellite for dynamic on-orbit operations. The company also says it is entering the space-tug market with a Moon-capable cargo/small-satellite transport vehicle, with BAE and Lockheed Martin planning dynamic-operations tests in coming years.
