KLM 777 at Atlanta: Passenger Falsely Reports Gun, Opens Exit Door During Taxi — Slide Deploys, Flight Cancelled
A passenger on KLM’s Atlanta–Amsterdam Boeing 777 called 911 from his seat to report a gun that was not on board, then opened an aircraft exit during taxi before police arrived. The deployed evacuation slide forced cancellation of the Amsterdam flight and prompted a police response at Atlanta.
