British Airways A350‑1000 sheds main landing‑gear wheel on Las Vegas takeoff; completes flight to London
On 26 January British Airways flight BA274, an Airbus A350‑1000 departing Las Vegas for London Heathrow, lost a right‑rear main landing‑gear wheel shortly after takeoff — the separation was captured on airport video. The aircraft continued and completed the 5,200‑mile flight to London; BA is assisting an investigation.
