
NTSB Hearing Finds Army Black Hawk Flew Above Assigned Altitude Before Fatal Reagan National Collision
At its opening of the three-day hearing in Washington, the NTSB disclosed that the Army Black Hawk in the Jan. 29 midair collision with an American Eagle CRJ flew above its assigned altitude due to faulty onboard data. Board chair Jennifer Homendy criticized U.S. officials for failing to address the hazard.
