FAA launches AAM pilot program to gather eVTOL flight‑test data to shape operations and infrastructure rules
The FAA has launched an Advanced Air Mobility pilot program inviting governments and industry to conduct coordinated eVTOL flight tests and share operational data. That flight‑test dataset will be used to shape forthcoming rules on piloted and unmanned eVTOL operations, airspace integration and vertiport/ground infrastructure.
