Heathrow completes £1bn CT-scanner rollout, ends 100ml liquids limit across terminals
Heathrow has completed a £1 billion rollout of CT scanners across all terminals, abolishing the 100ml liquids limit and allowing containers up to two litres while removing the requirement to remove laptops. The upgrade is designed to increase security throughput and reduce plastic-bag use, though installation issues and rule confusion surfaced.
