Israel’s “seventh freedom” pitch to Emirates: TLV–JFK flights and a Tel Aviv operating base, plus TLV–BKK
Israel’s Ministry of Transportation is pursuing a package to bring Emirates back to Tel Aviv (TLV) with “seventh freedom” style flying to New York (JFK)—not merely via Dubai—and also proposed TLV–Bangkok (BKK) service. Reports also say the government is asking Emirates to establish a base in Tel Aviv to enable the operation.
