Fuel shock forces APAC governments and carriers to intervene as jet prices surge
Jet fuel prices have more than doubled in parts of Asia, triggering warnings from industry leaders that some carriers could fail without government support. Trade-body chief executives expect higher ticket prices as carriers look to limit cost pass-through, while individual governments roll out emergency relief and discounts amid the Iran-linked supply strain.
