Air India to slash international flying from June–Aug 2026: ~100 daily cuts, Chicago suspension, and possible furloughs as Iran-
Air India plans deep international network reductions from June 2026 onwards, including cutting about 100 daily flights from June to August and suspending services such as Chicago, citing higher operating costs and weaker demand linked to the West Asia/airspace environment. The carrier is also reported to be weighing furloughs and other cost actions, with flight reductions of more than 20% from May through July.
