United Airlines will introduce its Airbus A321XLR on domestic routes, marking the aircraft’s first scheduled deployment for the carrier. Airbus will add an A220 full-flight simulator at its Singapore training center in 2027, supporting operators including Qantas, Korean Air and Air Niugini. The facility is being established as more than 170 A220s await delivery in Asia-Pacific, including 150 aircraft ordered by AirAsia from 2028.
Hainan Airlines plans to introduce Airbus A321neo service on an international route from Beijing beginning in October 2026. Separately, Porter Airlines is adding four international routes from London, Ontario, during the Northern winter 2026/27 season, including scheduled service beginning in mid-fourth-quarter 2026.
