
737 MAX 7 and 10 Certification Slips to 2026 as FAA Reviews Supply Chain
The FAA has declined to lift Boeing’s 38-jet/month MAX production cap until it completes a fresh review of the planemaker’s supply chain, even as critical certifications for the stretched MAX 10 and shortened MAX 7 are now delayed to 2026 due to wing-line bottlenecks and unresolved engine anti-ice system redesigns. Carriers such as Alaska Airlines have pushed their first MAX 10 deliveries into 2026–27.
