EU’s IRIS² Broadband Constellation Enters Operational Phase After Review and Architecture Agreement

The European Union’s IRIS² multi-orbit broadband constellation has passed its Rendezvous One review, clearing the way for its operational phase. The European Commission, ESA and commercial partners SES, Eutelsat and Hispasat have also reached agreement on the network’s architecture and cost.
