eVTOL advances: Electra.Aero shifts Ultra Short from prototype to production, while SkyDrive and propulsion-supplier Skyfly expa
Electra.Aero’s nine-seat Ultra Short uses eight electric motors and blown-lift technology, aiming for takeoff/landing in under 150 feet as it moves from prototype to production. Separately, SkyDrive signed an MoU with Bangkok Airways, SPI and Saha Tokyu to explore eVTOL applications in Thailand, while Skyfly Technologies unveiled an electric propulsion platform for other OEMs at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh.
