Lockheed Martin debuts PAC-3 ACE and “Baby Patriot” concept to cut interceptor costs while expanding ABM coverage
Lockheed Martin unveiled the PAC-3 Adapted Capability Effector (PAC-3 ACE) and a “Baby Patriot” initiative aimed at meeting urgent demand for enhanced anti-ballistic missile capabilities. The PAC-3 ACE is described as a low-cost interceptor built to defeat a broad range of air and missile threats for less than half the cost of a PAC-3 MSE per unit.
