Garmin launches AXIS integrated cockpit architecture for piston-aircraft retrofits

Garmin has unveiled AXIS, a new integrated display family for the general aviation retrofit market. AXIS consolidates IFR GPS navigation/COMM and audio-panel functions into the displays and replaces traditional central avionics racks.
