Jet A-1 shortage at Fiji’s Nadi airport forces airlines to tanker fuel through August 2026
Bookmark this storyNadi International Airport’s rejection of a contaminated Jet A-1 shipment has disrupted flight operations at Fiji’s main international gateway, which handles more than 30 international flights daily. Qantas, Virgin Australia, Air New Zealand and other operators are being forced to arrange alternative refueling, with the shortage expected to persist until at least August 31, 2026.
