Kongsberg wins three‑year contract to supply Optical Safety Barriers and UPPA units for Ariane 6
Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace has signed a three‑year contract with ArianeGroup to deliver Optical Safety Barriers (OSB) and Upper Part Attachment (UPPA) mechanisms for the Ariane 6 launcher. The award extends a long-standing partnership — OSB and UPPA deliveries began in 2021 — supporting Europe's independent access to space.
