Briefing

What Hype is tracking

  • Clears an FAA-approved aftermarket pathway to fit Gogo's Galileo FDX on BBJ1/BBJ2 and BBJ MAX, reducing bespoke certification work for operators and MROs and enabling faster retrofit installs (see a recent Galileo HDX STC for Globals for context: https://hype.aero/?story=3fd7498f-7847-4d74-b016-17a2a004135f).

  • Adds to a steady run of approvals for modern satcoms across business jets, complementing recent FAA and EASA STCs for other Gogo terminals and Starlink, and accelerating available in-flight connectivity options for VIP and corporate fleets (examples: https://hype.aero/?story=9f8fa7a2-0b4e-468e-82b4-7d972f82e6b3 and https://hype.aero/?story=e652a606-3781-4d6a-8f99-897423c5622a).
